APPARATVS (#1, 2015) Compounded capital, infrastructure, and computation have crossed a threshold and produced an autonomous apparatus — one that generates objective realities at planetary scale, operating beyond social groups, cities, and states. The issue refuses to treat this as a technological story; it treats it as the founding event of a new civilisational order. APPARATVS is the figure through which the question of environment becomes inseparable from the question of address: who issues realities, and to whom.
